On November 14th, 2012 the New Britain Mayor's office exterminated democracy at City Hall. Only 3 days after Veteran's Day and mere feet away from the Civil War Monument, residents were robbed of their patriotism and dignity.

$100,000 THEFT OF TAXPAYER FUNDS IN NO BID CONTRACT
On Dec. 24 Mayor Tim O'Brien announced he hired Global Strategies Group (GSG) as a PR firm for $100,000 to help promote the City against the landlords and in particular fight blight and the 911 hot spot ordinance.
